In March 2007, Temperance Alchemy was born in Salem, Massachusetts. Temperance wanted to share her talent and gifts with the world through her personal craft. Temperance Alchemy offers a wide variety of products and services, including readings, classes, workshops, gifts, books, incense, candles, and other items that reflect our diverse world. Many of the items featured here are Hoodoo, Native American, Santeria, Voudo, and Wiccan based; provided for the ‘practical practitioner’.
Temperance is a native Texan and a fire sign who loves to learn, teach, and roam. Since she was a small girl about 4 years old, she could see, hear, feel, and know things that other people could not. She would dream of events weeks before they became known to others. With her struggle during her adolescence and early adulthood to be ‘normal’ , she learned that she came from a long line of psychics, healers, Methodist preachers, and ‘cunning women’. Her ancestral roots extend from Europe, Africa, and the Americas. These practices include Choctaw and Cherokee spirituality and healing, Hoodoo, Santeria, Hexerei (Pennsylvania Dutch), Methodist teachings, Celtic (Scot/Irish), and eclectic Witchcraft (English). She was allowed to choose her own path. After being a baptized and confirmed Methodist, she embraced another path. Temperance’s current career is as an active duty Soldier with over 10 years of proud service.
After some terrifying experiences in Operation Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom that the door flew open and Temperance could no longer deny who she truly was; She is born a ‘cunning woman’, empath, intuitive, precognitive clairvoyant, clairaudient, clairsentient, psychic medium and works with psychometry. She does not have to use tools, but works with tarot, medicine wheel, medicine cards, personal effects, crystals, and pendulums for the benefit of her clients. Her experience with readings of this kind spans ten years.
Temperance is a Wiccan High Priestess, natural healer, reiki practitioner, energy worker, and ordained interfaith minister. She practices eclectic Witchcraft, Santeria, Hoodoo, and Ceremonial Magick. Healing modalities of Aromatherapy and Herbalism were learned through family tradition and the Green Witch School of Herbalism in Salem, Massachusetts. Temperance is currently enrolled in the American College of Healthcare Sciences in Portland, Oregon pursuing a degree in Complementary Alternative Medicine. She hopes to soon add acupuncture to her skill set.
